HEROES: "Parasite"

Last night on HEROES we finally got to meet Mr. Linderman. But even better than that were the series of cliffhangers that NBC left us with to think on for a month and a half. HEROES won't be airing again until April 23rd, so strap in your seat belts and hold on until then. It's gonna be a bumpy ride down the numerous HEROES cliffhangers.

After having watch her father get shot and have his memory wiped, Claire drove away with the Haitian. They were supposed to board a plane to Canada, but Claire wouldn't have it. She tricked the Haitian and boarded a plane to New York instead. Upon arriving, she went to see Peter Petrelli, the only person she thought she could trust. What she found was another twist in her life. Her grandmother, Nathan Petrelli's mother, was waiting for her along with the Haitian. She said they had been trying to protect her, but she kept being stubborn about it, just like her father.

Hiro, who was trying to get into see Mr. Linderman, caught up with Nathan Petrelli, who had a meeting with Mr. Linderman. With Nathan's help, Hiro got through security and down to see the curator. He had an opportune time to take the sword, but the guard caught him in the act and called security. But before all of security could get there, Ando showed up and beat down the guard holding Hiro. Hiro grabbed the sword, and before the other security could enter the room, Hiro and Ando teleported to the future. But this future didn't look so bright. They had entered a future where New York had been devastated by the bomb.

H.R.G. woke up without any knowledge of the Sprague/Parkman incident in his house or knowledge of Claire's escape. But when he returned to see his wife, who was vacationing in a hotel because of their house damage, she told him that her mind had not been wiped. She said that he had told her everything about their company and Claire. She then gave him a note that had been written in his own handwriting that said, "Claire is with friends. Don't go after her."

After this meeting with his wife, H.R.G. went to cover up Simone's death with his new partner, a shape-shifter. When they arrived, Isaac was in a frenzy about her death, and Miss Shape-Shifter only made his sorrow worse by turning into Simone and taunting him by saying, "You wanna shoot me again." I guess Simone is truly dead.

H.R.G. eventually went back to talk to the hotel again. There he found his wife and they discussed his plan of taking down the company by any means necessary. But he was in for a surprise because his wife was really his new partner, and he had just confessed his intentions. His boss came in shortly after that and he stared in horror.

Nathan Petrelli, after helping Hiro, went up to his hotel room only to be interrupted by Niki. She told him that Jessica had taken out the two FBI that were helping him get to Linderman. She ripped off the wire that he had on his chest, and then told him to kill Linderman. She said that no matter what he offered, he should ignore it and shoot the man. She also told him to knock her out and take the gun from her to kill Linderman. She wanted Jessica to see that she was no longer in charge. Nathan punched her and took her gun.

In his meeting with Linderman, he didn't do as Niki had said. Instead he listened to Linderman's dribble about a meaningful life and becoming president. Linderman also told him that he knew about Nathan's flying power. Unfortunately, Nathan let his ambition get in the way and lowered the gun.

Mohinder Suresh, who seemed to be falling perfectly into Sylar's trap, was not so naive anymore. Zane Taylor's body had been found and his murder published in the paper. Suresh exposed Sylar, and by using a certain liquid, he immobilized Sylar and strapped him to a chair. Suresh then took some of Sylar's DNA and then turned a gun on him. Unfortunately, Sylar had stopped the IV and stopped the bullet, freed himself, and turned his powers on Suresh.

Peter Petrelli, who had run soon after Simone had died, went to see his brother about her death and about what to do. Nathan said to go see Suresh. Peter left and ended up at Suresh's apartment. As he walked around the darkened apartment, blood began to drop on his head. Looking up he saw Mohinder pinned to the ceiling. Sylar then attacked and threw Peter against the wall. Sylar lifted his finger and cut across Peter's head, leaving a *SCAR.

And that was the end of this HEROES episode. Now we wait until April 23rd. This is gonna be brutal!

*In the episode where Future Hiro visited Peter Petrelli (Episode 5: Hiros), he said that he hadn't recognized him without his SCAR. Did Peter Petrelli just get his SCAR? Well, I'm pretty positive that he won't die. If Hiro saw him with his SCAR, then he is sure to live. YES!!!
