Today's Job Hunting

Well...it's back to job hunting for me. I had had two great interviews at Iowa Central for an Administrative Specialist position, but I didn't get it. They hired someone else. And I was really pulling for that one!

But today I visited several places. First, I went to the Workforce, then an Insurance place, then AutoDrive who was hiring an Office Assistant, then the Bank of Iowa to fill out an application, and then Decker Trucking to fill out another application. Whew! But I wasn't done yet. After that I went to Culver's for a very late lunch, then I went back to AutoDrive to talk to the manager about the position. The position only pays $7/hr, so I won't be pursuing it. After two years of college, I want to get paid more than that, especially with minimum wage rising soon!

Anyway, I'll keep looking, and believe me, you'll know when I get a job! It will be written ALL OVER my Blog!!!
